Will the device come with normal wear and tear and will I be able to tell that it's pre-owned?
If you buy a NEW product you should realize the phone is factory sealed in white box, original wrapping and unactivated to welcome a new owner, the accessories come separately, also they are original Apple product comes with 12 months warranty.
If you buy a LIKE NEW product you should realize the phone is perfect, clean and tidy - Immaculate. We carefully source and then test and grade all our products to ensure only the very best are offered for sale. We also offer lower grade A Grade and B Grade product at discounted rates which will have some minor cosmetic wear only. These certified A Grade and B Grade products will still be 100% fully functional.
What is the difference in Condition / Grade between LIKE NEW, A+, A, B+ and B?
2 - A+ / A Grade means the product is just below 'like new' condition. It may have a minor blemish or two such as a nick on the rim but otherwise looks as if it is new or close to new. We grade some of our latest models as Excellent rather than Very Good because the quality is so high and we think it does them an injustice to be only be called Very Good!
3 - B+ Grade means that the product has some blemishing such as a few nicks or light wearing around the framing. It is 100% fully functional and the screen will be clear. These devices are still in great condition and any blemishes are cosmetic only (i.e. they don't affect the performance of the device).
4 - B means the device has obvious signs of wear. It may have a number of small dents around the rim. The screen will be clear although may show signs of light scuffing or small scratches. Like all our grades, the device will be 100% functional and covered by our standard warranty. These devices are priced to reflect their condition and are perfect for anyone looking for a bargain - once the device is in its in the case you probably won't notice anything anyway!
Are these devices new, used or refurbished?
New devices will be mentioned on our description, usually we will state clearly.
We also sell pre-owned and refurbished devices. In general there's never been anything wrong with them and to ensure they are working fine, we will undertake our 30 points check. For those did not pass the test, we will replace them with high quality parts and normally we will replace the battery. You can easily tell the condition of the product by looking at the condition grade. We carefully select the highest quality products and make sure they are in excellent condition for their new owners.
Is a good battery life included in the SellMyApple Guarantee?
Yes, absolutely. We take it very serious about the battery, so basically every pre-owned phone we will change the battery which has been texted and good enough efficiency.
Where do these devices come from and are they unlocked and ready to use in New Zealand?
We only sell NZ devices and they are factory unlocked, working on all sims and even worldwide.
How do you ship the device?
We carefully pack all our devices in our own packaging, and then courier with 'signature required' to ensure the device gets to you safe and sound in the condition it left us.
When will I receive my delivery?
We use Castle Parcels for delivery to most of New Zealand, excluding weekends. As long as we receive your completed order by 12:00 pm NZT you should receive the shipment the following business day or two. Please note if you have a rural address it may take an additional day or two to get to you.
Once your device has shipped we'll send you tracking details so you can keep an eye on it and know when it will be delivered.
I need to change me shipping address - what should I do?
As long as the device hasn't left our premises this is no problem. Just contact us and we will make the changes for you. Please note for security reasons we may have to contact you directly and confirm some details before completing the change.
Can I pick up?
Yes you can, for purchases already made! Pick-ups are from Glen Innes, weekdays between 9:00 and 5:00 pm or Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Contact us for pick up appointment.
Can I browse the devices prior to buying?
Sorry no, we are an online specialist and don't run a brick and mortar store for retail browsing. The good news is it means by having lower overheads we can keep our prices low for customers.
